Ways to get involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved with Optivo to shape the services you receive and make a real difference to your community.

Even if you can only spare a small amount of time, we'd love to hear from you.

Working together as 'One Team' can help us change things for the better. And we offer full training and support, so you can develop new skills and boost your CV.

Here are some of the things you can get involved in:
  • Help re-design our services and test new technologies
  • Join one of our resident governance panels or groups
  • Shape the way we write and communicate with our residents
  • Help choose the staff that work for Optivo
  • Form a Residents' Association or an Action Group
  • Become a mystery shopper and help test our services and processes are working as expected
  • Help us plan events
  • Boost your CV and confidence through volunteering.

More information is also available in our 'Ways to get involved and have your say' publication.

Our resident governance structure

The tenants and shared owners  in our resident governance structure help influence decisions and scrutinise our services.

Residents and staff work together to identify what’s working well and where we can make improvements.

The structure links directly into our Board, ensuring our residents’ voices are heard throughout the organisation. Read more about our involved residents.
