Gender & Diversity Pay Gap Report

Publication type: report

At Optivo an inclusive workforce is a strategic priority. We want our people to feel respected for who they are, paid fairly for the job they do and feel they have opportunities to reach their maximum potential.

We know the importance of living and working in a safe and secure environment and how this enables people to be themselves at work. As one of the largest housing associations in the UK, we provide quality homes to our residents in London, the South East and the Midlands.

Our staff drive excellence and ensure we deliver services to our residents we can be proud of.  We know our people are critical to our ongoing success and we want every colleague to feel valued. This report sets out gender and diversity pay gap information based on a total of 1,556 colleagues on the snapshot date of 5 April 2019.

By law, we’re only required to share data on our gender pay information, but it’s important to us that we’re seen as an inclusive employer. For this reason, we also assess the gap for our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) colleagues, where a declaration has been made. We've produced this data on the same basis as our gender pay data.

Optivo’s gender pay gap is below the national average, but marginally worse than last year. However, we’re not complacent, we're committed to taking action and have set a strategic target to reduce our gender pay gap by at least 5% by 2025.
