Coronavirus update: Gas safety inspections still continuing

As your landlord it's our responsibility to ensure gas safety checks are carried out in your home annually.
It’s crucial you continue to allow our contractors access to your home so we can carry out the inspection and service the boiler.
Our contractors will be following the current government guidelines about Coronavirus when it comes to visits. Once in your home, while they complete their work, we'll ask you to keep a distance of two metres (six foot) or more from them.
Please don't be alarmed if they’re wearing face masks or other protective equipment like gloves.

Remember, if you’ve been told to self-isolate and we’re due to visit your home it is critical you let us know beforehand. This is vital for the safety of our staff and others.

You will have been told the name of the contractor you need to contact for gas servicing and heating repairs when you first became an Optivo customer. The contact details for our contractors are listed below.

Gas service inspections

It’s a legal requirement to service the gas appliances in your home, every year. This is to make sure they're safe and working correctly.

It's essential for your own safety to allow us and our contractors access to your home so we can carry out the inspection.

We'll write to you to confirm your gas safety inspection appointment. If the appointment date and time isn’t convenient for yourself, please contact your local contractor to rebook (contact details above). Flexible appointments are available to make sure we complete the service on time, and at a time which is convenient for you.
